While we both we texting each other, he randomly asked me. If I were interested to do blog as he knew I love writing. I explained that I used to do it last time but then getting lazy so then I stop.
He then said “Why not start it again? you love writing and you also can blog about anything you like, and I can give you ideas what you can blog about as well.”
And so therefore I start this again, named it after us and of course the journey that both of us going to venture present and future.
Thank you love for your motivation, ideas and encouragement. ❤
Anyway here is more about us:
We both work indirectly related. He drives the Train and I work as an Admin for the construction of the New Train tunnel and station. Our age gap, 2 years apart. We were introduce by someone unexpected and without knowing we got the chemistry and things go smoothly thereafter. We got engaged after dating for 5 months and now both of us are excitingly waiting for our big day.
He love soccer (Man U supporter) and he also a wrestling freak (totally opposite, I love reading, drawing and of course writing). He hate superhero movie, fantasy movie and love singing reality shows (Again totally opposite, I love superhero movie, Captain Marvel is my favorite as of now and oh I love Harry Potter!). He likes love song whether it is English or Malay (it just so so for me, I love rock, English and of course K pop songs!). Food, well it seems whatever I cooked, he just ate and be grateful. Oh he hates Cucumber and I love it, I hate Tomatoes and he love it. hah! We both love chicken! We loving hanging out and Netflix at home.
If I were to continue I guess its going to make this page much longer. Anyway that’s somehow are stuff about us.
I am so in love with my last outfit, it a simple white wedding gown with details but yet not too much. I even asked to style up my hair in a simple way possible, no veil or whatsoever. Just simple clip on the hair or a hair band or something and my make up artist and stylist did a perfect job!
Love it! ❤For the last event, we went down to the ballroom together ❤
We walk down to the ballroom together while our favorite music was on, anyway someone actually sang our song for us, it was a surprise done up by our best men and bridesmaid. We were truly surprise!
Our cake cutting ceremony ❤ (cake was sponsored by one of my BFF)This was the most touching event by my baby nephew, he sang my favorite song Perfect by Ed Sheeran, Until now I still can’t see the video of him yet cause it will make me cry! Omg! ❤ Most of my friends who was there told me that they too was in tears during this event. 😦
Our last session of photo taking took place and also a series of saying bye to all our guest and relatives before we leave the event. We went to Tanjung Rhu for our outdoor photo shoot.
Us and our best men and bridesmaid ❤This was one of our best picture ❤And another of my favorite ❤
We spend nearly 2 hours there and stop before Sunset. It was enjoyable photo shoot ever. With so much laughter and fun!
Our last Photo before we leave and back to the hotel ❤
Basically it was such a meaningful event for me, even though both of us ended up super tired but it was worth it. With our Best Men and Bridesmaid who help us throughout the whole event I guess they make it a success! Without them I don’t even can think what will happen. Our both family plays a part too from ushering to handling all the things at the ballroom, seriously nothing I can do to thank them enough. With this once again we are legally married. ❤
After having like 30 minutes of break with a quick change of outfit and style we went back down again. This time I have to go down 1st and wait for him to come.
Me at the dias waiting for himWell its not easy for him to straight come to me, he have to go through a series of interrogation from my side in order for him to pass through. This was the only time for us to somehow bully him. 😀 He did it! ❤
Another session of photo taking and by the time I am so famished! I keep complaining to him that I better eat something soon if not I can’t keep up with smiling to anyone anymore. He just laugh and asked me to be patient. Then after which it was lunch for us. (and yet still people asked to take photo with us while we ate, -.-)
Awesome food by Muslim Delight Catering ❤Continuation of photo taking session again before we proceed to change to our last outfit ❤
Half a day almost gone and both of us can’t really wait for the event to end. We were just waiting for us to go off for our outdoor shoot and yes we are free after that. If I am not mistaken we went up to change at about 3.30 pm and take a breather for a short while before we went down again for our cake cutting ceremony and then off we go! Lets continue on the next post. 😀
It was on 28.07.2019 that we tie the knot and we became legally husband and wife. To be honest, preparing for the wedding is not as bad as I thought all was at ease and easy. From finding a wedding planner and our bridal make up artist to choosing our outfit, all was good. We choose out venue at Concorde Hotel Singapore. We got a free stay as well which was amazing.
On the day itself I have to wake up very early at 6.30am, have a light breakfast of bread and coffee then woke my 2 bridesmaid up. Then we wait for my our make up artist to come and things got busy. 😀
The best make up artist I know, I love how he do my face 🙂And She is the one who style me up 🙂He helps my husband too! 🙂Best Team! ❤My henna – FrontMy henna – BackI am ready to go down to the ballroom for our Solemnization 🙂
By this time, My heart is feeling extremely nervous and it start pounding real hard. I keep taking deep breathe and pray all will be fine. We proceed to the ballroom separately. My husband went down 1st then me.
Only god knows how I exactly feel, I am filled with so many emotions and knowing myself that at any time I might just breakdown and cry. I am trying to hide those but anyway eventually I can’t, it so happy that once I see my old Daddy face I crumble. 😦
Finally! ❤My Family ❤His Family ❤
1st Step done and it was such a relieve for us. After lots of photo taking from our family and friends. We went back to our room to changes to the next outfit.
Its been a while since I updated this blog. Both of us were having quite a long break until I actually forgotten our password plus our laptop went on a protest mode! it broke down! So after setting it up again and make it better I manage to log in again and hopefully this time I have more to write in and also more to update. Well I do… 🙂
Anyway a lot of things have been happening since we tie the knot! yes we got married! and from getting married and settling down with each other, going on our honeymoon and eventually we got pregnant! Alright all these will be posted on my next entry (separately of course!), I better end here before I start blabbing on more.

Put in Salt and a little sugar.
Last put in Coconut milk and stir for about 5 minutes and off the heat.
Done and serve with Rice Cake (Lontong)
Since it was my 1st time I did not know how to gauge how much should I cook and I end up cooking less. By about 4pm most of my dishes finished. Well next year I know that I need to cook more. 🙂
Its been a while since I last posted anyway Eid Mubarak to all muslim, a day of celebration, gathering and forgiveness. This year it was my 1st time celebrating it in my new house. Preparation was super hectic but Alhamdullilah I had so much help especially from my Fiance. He really help me through a lot from going to Ikea to buy deco stuff for the house and to buying beverages and those goodies. I am thankful though.
Yesterday we went outing and visiting our family members not all though as some of them is not home. At the same time it was ‘hand out the invitation cards day!’ (yes! 49 days more to our wedding day! :D)
Below is some photos taken yesterday~~~
Face still fresh!Daddy and me.. ❤Daddy with his one and only little sister… 🙂Daddy with her girls ❤Last picture taken of the day and with that shagged face of mine…
Even though I was tired and sleepy it was kind of a great day and I am enjoying it. Hoping that we may be able to celebrate another Eid next year In Shaa Allah~~~ (anyway I really cant focus writing this actually cause I keep thinking about my wedding day!!! arrgghhh!)
I was asked by him to design a logo for his company tee shirt. I am not really good about actually but then I told him I try but no promises. He said his colleagues wanted something according to them but then I told him I will do a few but then up to them if they want to use my design or not. It takes me about 3 weeks to finish all up.
This was for the back of the tee shirt This was at front, just a small one on the left chest I think, I cant remember.
I told him that what I drew have meaning behind it. The first one was the train going out from the tunnel, it shows how our Train System manage to breakthrough and overcome all the hard challenges. The second one shows a hand grabbing their company logo, it means no matter what happen they will held on tight to their company pride.
I was thankful that the rest of them was ok with the design and then he and I went to source for printing company, engaged them and print it on the tee! I was glad that quite many of them actually ordered it. After what I did, he told me what if we do an online business? Well, we will one day but not now. 😀
First of all, my apology in any case if by me posting some pictures of my feet might be yucky or gross for some of you all. Previously I had mention before on my weight loss post, https://ellax5roozvoyage.home.blog/2019/04/14/weight-loss-goal-her/ that I am suffering from a type 2 diabetes and doctors told me that by losing weight it will go away. I was diagnose since last year march after I went to A&E due to my severe back pain and while they took my blood sample they found some abnormalities in my blood therefore I was refer to another doctor for a thorough check. About a week or 2, the result was positive and my sugar range was 9.0mmol/L.
When I first found out, I was devastated. I cried in front of the doctor, I just do not believe myself that I am diabetic and at the age of 37! It took me a while to calm down and the doctor to console me, She kept saying I am still young and I am able to control it and she definitely will help me get through this. I was then given a medicine called METFORMIN to start with and help to control my sugar level and at the same time I need to see a dietitian and discuss about my food and drink intake, an eye specialist and leg specialist as well. They send me for counselling to boost my confidence that I am able to get through this. My fiance, at that time was my boyfriend kept comforting me and check up on me every single day, he was worried that I might just break down and cry.
For the next few months I look after my food and drinks. I tried to exercise and keep myself healthy. I was asked to come back after 4 months and I did. Doctor told me that I did a good job, my sugar level drop from 9.0mmol/L to 6.9mmol/L. They wants me to go down until 6.0mmol/L. I told myself I will keep trying my best.
What worries me now was my feet. Ever since I started eating METFORMIN my skin condition changes. I now have dry skin, its not severe though but my feet, there is this kind of blister keep popping up. I did my research and from what I assume it was called Diabetes Blister. It form up like our normal blister and inside there is a liquid. I then read up and try to keep my feet dry most of the time. I washed it with Cetaphil body wash and applied lavender essential oil to make the blister dried up. It did dried up in about 2 weeks but then it start to have dead skin and at times I peel it off (I kept getting scold from my fiance for doing that.) 😦
*sorry for such a gross picture* Thats how dried it get, if u notice there is some newly form blister at the top near to my big toe.*Sorry for such a gross picture* After I wash it clean and applied lavender oil *Sorry for such a gross picture* This was taken just now after I came back from work, wash my feet and dried it. I am not even sure if it is even healing. The dried up skins is so terrible. 😦
My next appointment to see the leg specialist is in July but My Fiance told me not to wait anymore and just change the date so that I can see them earlier since I am so worried. Beside seeing the doctor I am not sure what else can I do to care for my feet. I am just afraid that my feet condition will get worse and other complications will come. I am just so worried. Once again sorry for the gross picture of my feet! 😦
We, my niece and her hubby went to Batam for the weekend, from 20th April to 22nd April. We went there actually for a mission, to find Batik Shirt for our Best men. Which we manage to purchase at a very cheap price. IDR150k which is about SGD15. After that we go around shopping for keropoks and toiletries. Oh we really ate a a lot by the way!
20th April 2019
We board the ferry at 9am from Habourfront Centre and we reach Batam Centre at 9am Indonesia time. Once we reach Batam Centre We were hungry as we didn’t ate any breakfast at all.Our 1st stop is A&W at Batam Centre Mega Mall.

21st April 2019

Funny thing was we didnt know that our Army Stew serving was huge! it seems like both of us can share it. Even then we didnt finish the food and ended up we pack our squid twiggim and also the pajeon (which I continue eating it at our hotel room). After dinner, we played around at the claw machine, cause I insist that he got me that cute UNICORN but then it was hard so we gave up! We walked around again and bought my daddy his wallet and again to their supermarket to spend a little more.

After breakfast, I accompany him to get his Gentlemen Haircut. It was just across the street. It was a nice cozy place and clean. Price wise cheap obviously! He paid SGD13.50 for his clean shave, trimming of his beard and all. And he even got a shoulder and head massage! Awesome!
