Diabetes Feet Blister

First of all, my apology in any case if by me posting some pictures of my feet might be yucky or gross for some of you all. Previously I had mention before on my weight loss post,
https://ellax5roozvoyage.home.blog/2019/04/14/weight-loss-goal-her/ that I am suffering from a type 2 diabetes and doctors told me that by losing weight it will go away. I was diagnose since last year march after I went to A&E due to my severe back pain and while they took my blood sample they found some abnormalities in my blood therefore I was refer to another doctor for a thorough check. About a week or 2, the result was positive and my sugar range was 9.0mmol/L.

When I first found out, I was devastated. I cried in front of the doctor, I just do not believe myself that I am diabetic and at the age of 37! It took me a while to calm down and the doctor to console me, She kept saying I am still young and I am able to control it and she definitely will help me get through this. I was then given a medicine called METFORMIN to start with and help to control my sugar level and at the same time I need to see a dietitian and discuss about my food and drink intake, an eye specialist and leg specialist as well. They send me for counselling to boost my confidence that I am able to get through this. My fiance, at that time was my boyfriend kept comforting me and check up on me every single day, he was worried that I might just break down and cry.

For the next few months I look after my food and drinks. I tried to exercise and keep myself healthy. I was asked to come back after 4 months and I did. Doctor told me that I did a good job, my sugar level drop from 9.0mmol/L to 6.9mmol/L. They wants me to go down until 6.0mmol/L. I told myself I will keep trying my best.

What worries me now was my feet. Ever since I started eating METFORMIN my skin condition changes. I now have dry skin, its not severe though but my feet, there is this kind of blister keep popping up. I did my research and from what I assume it was called Diabetes Blister. It form up like our normal blister and inside there is a liquid. I then read up and try to keep my feet dry most of the time. I washed it with Cetaphil body wash and applied lavender essential oil to make the blister dried up. It did dried up in about 2 weeks but then it start to have dead skin and at times I peel it off (I kept getting scold from my fiance for doing that.) 😦

*sorry for such a gross picture*
Thats how dried it get, if u notice there is some newly form blister at the top near to my big toe.

*Sorry for such a gross picture*
This was taken just now after I came back from work, wash my feet and dried it. I am not even sure if it is even healing. The dried up skins is so terrible. 😦

My next appointment to see the leg specialist is in July but My Fiance told me not to wait anymore and just change the date so that I can see them earlier since I am so worried. Beside seeing the doctor I am not sure what else can I do to care for my feet. I am just afraid that my feet condition will get worse and other complications will come. I am just so worried. Once again sorry for the gross picture of my feet! 😦
